Women United (formerly Women's Initiative)

Women United is a volunteer-based group whose mission is to bring about positive change in our community through philanthropy and service.

We focus on strengthening three areas affecting the lives of women and children in Middlesex County:

Empowering Women: Ensuring that women have the resources and support they need to make healthy choices.
Financial Stability: Ensuring that women of all ages have the education and tools to be independent and self-sufficient.
Childhood Development: Ensuring that parents and children have the resources they need for healthy development.

WHAT WE DO:

We build community engagement by sharing and creating volunteer and philanthropic giving opportunities.

We elevate women by recognizing and celebrating accomplishments, past and present.

We invest in our community by making grants to local programs that support one or more of our focus areas.

We empower each other as professionals, caregivers, leaders, and friends.

Since 2008, the Women United group has awarded over $100,000 in grants to local organizations that support one or more of our focus areas.

A $50 annual membership means joining like-minded women who are interested in:

Driving community change through philanthropy and service.
Participating in events and volunteer projects that make a meaningful difference.
Networking with women who have a passion for the community.
