2025-2026 Campaign: United is the Way
This year, as Middlesex United Way celebrates 90 years of impact, our workplace campaign theme is United is the Way—a reminder that when we come together, we create stronger communities and brighter futures. By working side-by-side, we can build lasting change for the common good.
Your support fuels our new focus areas: Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, Healthy Communities, and Community Resiliency. Together, we’re ensuring that every neighbor has the resources and opportunities to thrive—today and for generations to come.
Our 2025-2026 Campaign Video (to the right via YouTube) focuses on our 90 years of impact and highlights our partnerships with local agencies.
Supporting ALICE Families
The newly released 2025 ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) Report shows that 40% of Connecticut households live below the ALICE threshold, struggling to afford basic needs despite working hard. In Middlesex County, 46% of Middletown residents fall into this category, along with 41% of Westbrook residents, and 40% of Chester residents. This reality underscores why Middlesex United Way’s mission is more important than ever.
