Middlesex United Way’s Women United invites local nonprofits to apply for grant funding to support programs that strengthen women and children across our 15-town service area. Grants focus on three priority areas:
- Childhood & Youth Development – ensuring children and parents have resources for healthy growth.
- Empowering Women – providing women with the support they need to make healthy life choices.
- Financial Stability – helping women of all ages gain education and resources to achieve independence.
The 2025 grant cycle will open on October 10, 2025 and close on December 5, 2025. Awards typically range from $100 to $1,000 and are reviewed by the Women United volunteers in December, with recipients announced shortly after.
To apply: please download and complete the grant application (see below) and email it, along with all required attachments to Brian Thompson, our Director of Community Impact: Brian.Thompson@middlesexunitedway.org with the subject line: Women United Grant
A virtual informational session is scheduled for 11am on October 30th to provide additional insight and to give interested applicants an opportunity to ask questions. Specific details will be shared here once finalized.
Please note: Eligible organizations must be IRS tax-exempt and serve residents in Middlesex United Way’s service area. Organizations currently receiving Community Impact Grant funding are not eligible.
