Middlesex United Way: Upcoming campaign celebration to showcase supporters

MIDDLETOWN — The Middlesex United Way will be kicking off the summer by hosting our first in-person event to celebrate the people who made this past year a success, even through all of the adversity.

Please join us for our annual Campaign and Community Celebration June 22 at 5 p.m. at Middlesex Community College. The event will take place on the lower lot and all COVID protocols will be followed, per state guidelines.

Each year, we gather to honor companies, organizations, nonprofits, and municipalities that support the Middlesex United Way campaign. We like to take this day to show our friends and supporters how much we appreciate their support of the community and Middlesex United Way. In just two weeks, we will gather to honor over 70 workplaces in Middlesex County for their support.

The event will feature a brief program featuring words from our Campaign Chairman, Dr. Michael Conner, Superintendent of Middletown Public Schools; Chairwoman Kimberly Hogan, Dean of Administration at Middlesex Community College, and a few words from a one of our funded partners, HOPE Partnership.

We will have music to enjoy (thank you, DJ Manny) as well as eats from local food trucks. A cash bar will also be available.

We can’t wait to recognize so many more generous companies and their employees for their outstanding support:
